About the event
Work-at-Height training is highly regarded because it is structured to put employers and employees in the best possible position to prevent / control fall hazards and demonstrate due-diligence. The WAH Competent Person / Trainer course educates students to identify predictable hazards with fall protection equipment and systems and corrective actions that can be taken. All Work-at-Height programs require demonstrations of knowledge through hands-on, experiential exercises of all items of fall protection equipment and related skills that an employer must train on. Training information is current and accurate, but more importantly all students "learn by doing". All training programs comply with ANSI/ASSE Z359.2 - Minimum Requirements for a Comprehensive Managed Fall Protection Program as well as the applicable occupational safety laws of the jurisdiction in which the training is being delivered (OSHA 1926.503, 1910.30, Cal OSHA, WA DOSH, Oregon OSHA, EM385, etc.).
